The Clearblue® One Month Supply Digital Ovulation Kit, with 20 individually wrapped test sticks, takes the guesswork out of getting pregnant naturally and is most suited to women with irregular cycles. There’s no calculating when to start testing for ovulation – the One Month Ovulation Kit tells you the exact day to begin and ensures you have plenty of test sticks so you won’t run out or miss identifying your 2 best days to conceive. Clearblue’s test is over 99% accurate and has a clear digital readout of a smiley face that makes it easy to know when the time is right – no wonder it’s the brand preferred by 9 out of 10 women.1,2
The following chart outlines the phases of a woman’s menstrual cycle, showing how the two most fertile days coincide with the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge (24-36 hours before ovulation) and the release of an egg (ovulation). These are a woman’s 2 best days to conceive a baby and what the Digital Ovulation Test identifies. The One Month Supply Kit accounts for the fact that many women’s cycles vary from month to month, making it a challenge to accurately detect the timing of peak fertility. In fact, in over 40% of women aged 18-40 years, cycle lengths vary by 7 days.3 Studies have therefore shown that performing 20 tests rather than 7 or 5 tests offers a greater chance of testing on the correct day. In fact, using 20 tests per cycle covered 99% of LH surge days in typically cycling women.4 This variability from month to month also explains why measuring Basal Body Temperature or using only an ovulation calculator, both of which predict ovulation based on past cycle information, is not the most reliable.
It is known that many women have low levels of LH present in their urine throughout their cycles. The Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test therefore sets a personalized threshold level for each woman, by measuring their change in LH level from their personal baseline.
Because we give you 20 individually wrapped test sticks in the One Month Supply Digital Ovulation Test Kit, there’s no need to calculate or guess on your own when to start testing. You can consistently begin testing on a fixed day of your cycle (see product insert).
With some tests, reading the results can be difficult -as many as one in four people misread the result from a traditional ovulation line test.2 Digital results take away this potential human error and data shows that when compared to traditional line tests, the Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test is more accurately read by consumers.2
A smiley face means your LH surge has been detected. You can stop testing for this cycle. Having sex within the next 48 hours will maximize your chances of getting pregnant.
A blank circle means your LH surge has NOT been detected. Continue testing with a new test stick at the same time tomorrow.
While many women think they must see their doctor for accurate pregnancy results, the truth is Clearblue pregnancy tests are as accurate as a doctor’s urine test.5 You can quickly check if you are pregnant with a home pregnancy test and save the time and cost of a trip to the doctor.
